Competitions are created by (for) theaters to promote an upcoming movie. Other businesses welcome to use the site to promote their product or service through competions.
Currently you can launch two types of competitions. Both competitions are designed to promote an upcoming movie. In the theater Social media page ask a poster to be created that relates to the upcoming movie. No need to create an exact replica of an existing poster. We strongly discourage creating exact replica. A teaser competition takes this one step further. Using the poster created and with some instructions it creates a 6 second video. Same concept a video that conveys or relates to the upcoming movie or prequel to this. Theaters that want to run the competitions, first register as a business on the site. Business name and Business Logo and Business Email required. Each business will be assigned a code. This code will be used to as onboarding code to the site. And all submissions will be sent to the email associated with the onboarding code.
Theaters can run competitions every three weeks when new movie is screened. Other businesses can decide a frequency that best fits their product or service.
Prize can be a gift certificate or membership to the business.
There is no cost to business to run completions at present. We are planning to keep this free as our revenue model does not depend on charging businesses for running the competitions. However this could change as things evolve.
